When the Scholl Manufacturing Company closed around 1985, the Phillip's business sold a variety of supports and in 2003 began fitting customers with the Alznner-designed arch supports.  These supports were developed after 20 years of research by Dr. George Alzner who devoted a lifetime developing a support that would return a "problem" foot back to the alignment of a healthy foot with a completely natural approach and product.
