THINKING ABOUT BUYING ARCH SUPPORTS
BUT DON'T HAVE THE FOGGIEST CLUE WHAT YOU NEED
. . . OR EVEN WHAT'S AVAILABLE???
6 Things You Need To Know Before Buying
Most common foot, leg or back pain is caused by fallen arches, which can take our feet and body out of a natural alignment and into an unnatural alignment. This can cause significant discomfort when we are on our feet.
Our feet each have 4 arches. If they are in proper alignment, they keep us in a strong natural balance. Often, one of the arches, particularly the metatarsal arch, falls and takes our body structure out of a natural alignment and into a weaker, off-balance alignment.
The fallen metatarsal arch is very common with people who have plantar faciitis, heel pain, heel spurs, knee, leg or back pain.
The vast majority of arch supports, whether bought over-the-counter or custom-molded, do not have a significant metatarsal arch and consequently do not bring the foot or body back into a natural strong balance and alignment.
We have two classes of supports that support all 4 arches of each foot:
A The stronger Alznner-designed supports are somewhat thicker and work well in more full shoes such as athletic and work shoes.
B The mid-level supports are thinner and can be worn in tighter fitting shoes, including dress shoes, high-heeled shoes, sandals and slippers.
Although these two can be bought separately, they form our "Lifetime Plus Package" which is meant to give you supports that are appropriate for every item of footwear in your closet as well as every level of foot stress. These supports have a manufacturer's lifetime warranty to give you proper support for your lifetime - for all the shoes you have now and for the rest of your life. Often a mild support is added for house slippers.
To keep the feet and body in alignment arch supports should be worn throughout the
entire day for maximum results.
